TASK
OK class! You are Public Relations (PR) Executives for The Warren Group; one of the largest, most sought after PR counsulting firms in the country. Your company represents a star studded list of celebrities, professional athletes, politicians and fortune 500 companies. Using your power to motivate, influence, persuade, inform, translate, or entertain, your job as Public Relations Executives will be to take on one of the following topics:
1. Call a press conference to introduce J Lo's new Fragrance called, "Love and Light".
2. Call a press conference to announce the return of star wide-receiver Terrell Owens
to the NFL; Owens, once plagued by an injured knee, has healed and is ready to play again.
3. Call a press conference to discuss bugs found in the Iphone's battery.
As previously discussed, before a PR Executive speaks on behalf of one of their clients, there is a lot of "behind the scenes" research that takes place. One of the most important rules in PR is, KNOW YOUR CLIENT!!! Your team (teams created Monday) will have to research the topic you are to present on. I purposely chose topics that can be easily researched via the internet. The following page (Process) will provide a layout of the assigment. Click on the word Process above or below to get your formal instructions.
